Huddersfield's win took them up to sixth in the table, while Blackpool remain 13th and have now lost five of their past six games. Was wondering how to strafe jump correctly. I’ve seen people in videos being able to jump from b heaven to boxes before. However, whenever I try I’m not able to cover as much distance. I understand that the general concept is to turn right when pressing d or turn left when pressing a bit it still doesn’t work for me. This is just long jumps in general.

2022.01.27 05:18 MindSporeOSS Advancements in Protein Structure Prediction and Inference with MindSpore
The evolving research into protein structures is one of the most challenging, fascinating and potentially impactful areas of development in the Life Sciences sphere. Many scientists have dedicated themselves to looking for breakthroughs.
Using ordinary computer software to analyze protein structures requires an astonishing amount of computation, which is unbearable even for supercomputers. Furthermore, conventional protein structure prediction methods are plagued by inaccuracy. Therefore, it is very hard to make progress.
In an attempt to remedy this obstacle, researchers develop AI algorithms to predict the structure of proteins based on amino acid sequences. This was first successfully done in 2020, by Google's DeepMind team who, using AlphaFold2, managed to accurately predict the structure of 350,000 proteins. AlphaFold2 was significantly more accurate than other methods in a vast majority of cases. The team's achievement was honored with the first prize at the 14th Critical Assessment of Structure Prediction (CASP14) competition, where the organizers described their work as "unprecedented progress".
Recently, the MindSpore team, the China Changping Laboratory, Peking University's Biomedical Pioneering Innovation Centre (BIOPIC), the Chemistry and Molecular Engineering College, and Shenzhen Bay Laboratory's Gao Yiqin team, joined forces to launch a new protein structure prediction and inference tool modelled on AlphaFold2.
The new MindSpore-based tool leverages the heterogeneous Compute Architecture for Neural Networks (CANN) to harness the computing power of the Ascend AI Processor. Its relative strength lies in the multiple sequence comparison stage. By adopting MMseqs2 for sequence retrieval, it can dramatically improve the computing efficiency for protein prediction because its end-to-end computing speed is almost 3 times higher than that of AlphaFold2. It can calculate the protein structure of a sequence of over 2000 amino acids, covering more than 99% of protein sequences, and thus makes a valuable contribution to research in the bioprotein field.
Figure: An illustration of protein T1079, predicted by MindSpore. The green represents the experimental results while red represents the predicted results.
The prediction of single protein folding is a respectable start, but at present, we have barely scratched the surface of protein structure research. Proteins usually function in pairs or groups to perform the functions required to sustain life. To continue to explore the science behind proteins, it is important to refine algorithms and better understand the interaction between multiple proteins. In future, we may be able to use this research to create more advanced treatments for disease.
MindSpore's new protein structure prediction and inference tool is now open sourced in the MindSpore community: https://gitee.com/mindspore/mindscience/tree/masteMindSPONGE/mindsponge/fold

2022.01.27 05:18 Adam_The_Actor Discussion Thread - Why does Atlus market FEMC so poorly outside of Japan?
| When it comes to the Persona series I'd like to think it's well established among the fan base how popular and well regarded Persona 3 is. Thanks to it's exceptional cast of characters and the emotional investment placed into them throughout it's story and the emotional pay-off as you play through it. To this day not only is Persona 3 FES one of the most expensive games on the Playstation 2 this also holds true for both it's vanilla counterpart and most importantly for this topic Persona 3 Portable on the PSP.|
Now going up against P3:FES, P3P had a lot to live up-to especially given the revisions needed to include the full content of the story within the game however among the changes was by far the biggest addition to the game...
Persona 3 Portable Female Protagonist
In my albeit short experience with the Persona series, I have it on good authority that FEMC is by far one of the most loved characters in the entire series among it's fans. Given the effort Atlus made in defining her unique characteristics to set her apart her male counterpart and amount of character interaction that created specifically for her I would've thought Atlus would've made a decent effort in marketing her as a selling point for the game. Sure enough that's exactly what they did, in Japan... but elsewhere...
P3P Collectors Edition
I will say in Europe at the very least she doesn't even appear on the box art for the special or regular edition of the game and though she does appear on the back of the box it still feels like it was weirdly skimmed over. I'm sure in the US she got a little better focus but even still I feel because of this P3P came and went resulting in the character being forgotten outside of her dedicated audience. But 8 years later out of nowhere they gave her a second chance with Persona Q2...
What is wrong with this picture?
Where she once again barely gets mentioned or featured at all in marketing (outside of Japan) despite being the most important character in the game besides Hikari. What I do find hilarious though is that they managed to turn her completely overshadowed existence in comparison to her male counterpart into both a plot point and a character arc. That is not even accounting for the fact Q2 was one of the last releases for a console that had by that point been massively overshadowed by the Switch.
Given the positive reception surrounding FEMC as how much the fan base generally adores her I really feel like it's a missed opportunity they haven't done more with her. I feel like if this character got the same amount of love that Joker and Yu does I feel Persona's following would only grow stronger and let's be clear here this series already has a strong female audience going for it. Unfortunately to date, she doesn't have her own animated series, no movie and no manga (outside of Q2's comedy sketch thing) and I'd like to believe that if those Persona 3 Portable remaster rumours are true they'll finally put her at the forefront.
But what do you guys think? Am I simping too hard for a character who already gets enough love? Or is it about time Atlus made a good marketing decision and included her among the other crew.

2022.01.27 05:18 Aceripper Anyone have any tips for Astellarn?
I know the mechanics, I know what I should be doing but for some reason, I'm just struggling to get consistent kills, and it's not always due to the RNG spawn of the star.
Most of my deaths come from 2.5k+ hits of his melee or range attack when I'm not expecting it. Like when I have to lure the star, not only will I take massive rapid damage from the wyrmhole, but I'll somehow have put myself in melee distance and get slapped away.
Are there any little tips that people use to make this kill more consistent, or is it just a Ring of Death simulator? I find standing on either the North or South side of Astellarn I will be in melee distance no matter what, but this is how I see people standing in videos etc.
