2021.10.16 14:03 MEETMEONLINE SORRENTO NOW HAS EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS IN 60% OF THE WORLD.
Sorrento now has exclusive rights in 60% of the world ..."to utilize Dyadic’s C1 technology for the development and commercialization of vaccines, therapeutic antibodies, protein therapeutics, and diagnostics for coronaviruses, including DYAI-100, Dyadic’s lead COVID-19 vaccine candidate." Quite apart from the vaccine DYAI-100, the C1 technology can be applied across Sorrento's entire Covid portfolio. It will greatly reduce costs. For example, Sorrento could now have not only the world's BEST COVID ANTIBODIES but also the world's MOST AFFORDABLE! We know that even now, because they are so powerful, they require only small doses. They can be delivered in 2 minute injections rather than 4 hour infusions. They can be delivered in small nasal drops. They can be delivered in small amounts utilizing the SOFUSA technology. Add to that substantial production cost savings using the C1 technology and Sorrento will have enormous pricing advantages which health systems like!
All the SRNE stuff From Dyadic Earning Call: Mark Emalfarb - Founder, CEO, President & Director, Dyadic International Inc. "Since March, we entered into foreign collaborations, including the recently announced binding term sheet with Sorrento Therapeutics, a NASDAQ-listed clinical-stage antibody-centric biopharmaceutical company, developing new treatments for COVID-19, cancer, and pain. The Sorrento license agreement when executed will mark a significant milestone in our corporate development efforts, as we will have begun to monetize our COVID-19 development efforts to licensing our C1 technology for the development and commercialization of vaccines, therapeutic antibodies, protein diagnostics solely for coronaviruses, including DYAI-100, Dyadic's lead COVID-19 vaccine candidate to a drug development partner that has the resources and the expertise to advance coronavirus vaccines, therapeutics, and diagnostics, both clinically and commercially.
Due to confidentiality agreements, we are often unable to publicly announce certain ongoing collaborations. Over the past 6 months, as noted by Sorrento's Chairman and CEO, Dr. Henry Ji, Sorrento carried out several promising preclinical animal studies using the C1 produced RBD antigen and Dyadic's lead COVID-19 vaccine candidate, DYAI-100.
Sorrento extensively studied Dyadic's lead COVID-19 vaccine, which utilizes the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein, receptor binding domain, RBD antigen, in vitro and in in vivo for its induction of high titer neutralization activities in vaccinated animals against the SARS-CoV-2 us and its major variants of concern. The goal - their goal is to manufacture a COVID-19 vaccine that will provide protection across the variants of concern, including Delta, and in addition, apply the C1 protein production platform broadly across their current and future coronavirus programs.
Our mutual goal, as highlighted in yesterday's press release, as we continue to work together to develop and commercialize a protein-based COVID-19 vaccine that can be rapidly manufactured in very large quantities in Sorrento's existing cGMP and other cGMP facilities, and stored and transported at either room temperature or 2 to 8 degrees in order to increase the access and affordability to underserved populations globally. Sorrento reported that a multivalent COVID-19 vaccine is under development using the SARS-CoV-2 RBDs for the variants of concern such as Transcript Provided by delta, alpha, beta, gamma, and Lambda and is being designed to cover all known and emerging variants of concern.
This is a significant event for Dyadic, having achieved our goal of creating a pathway that addresses the COVID-19 production, commercialization, and distribution gap for mass-scale immunizations across the globe quickly and efficiently. This Sorrento license fills the gap for the remaining potential COVID-19 immunization, production, and distribution across all other territories, not already covered by Dyadic's existing agreements with Medytox, Syngene, and the Rubic Consortium.
The Sorrento license agreement, when executed, will grant Sorrento exclusive rights for human health and nonexclusive for animal health in their territory to utilize Dyadic's C1 technology for the development and commercialization of vaccines, therapeutic antibodies, protein therapeutics, and diagnostics solely for coronaviruses, including DYAI-100, Dyadic's lead COVID-19 vaccine candidate.
And we'll include upfront payments of $10 million in cash and stock up to $4 million in reimbursements for DYAI-100's preclinical and clinical development milestones and development costs incurred by Dyadic up to $33 million of potential milestone payments for the successful developments of vaccines, therapeutics in humans and animals as well as additional royalty

2021.10.16 14:03 Bongofish182 Please help me choose my next gravel/road bike...3 options.
First option is this, it's the cheapest but seems to have good spec....
Second is this
3rd is alot more expensive and road orientated, however can fit up to 35mm tyres and love the look of the bike
My riding is 70%tarmac and 30% dirt paths and light gravel. I have a max limit of £1000. I know the trek is £50 but its very much a out of the box bike but really like the look if it. Looks more expensive than it is and come with tubeless rims etc etc.
Please let me know your thoughts.

2021.10.16 14:03 BuckGB Baldur's Gate III Patch 6 Previews
With a new early access patch for Baldur's Gate III now live, you might be wondering about the game's current state and its general prospects after about a year of early access. If that's the case, you can find a few previews based on the latest build below.
First, here's Eurogamer with a preview that doubles as an interview with Larian's Swen Vincke:
The lead systems person I spoke to said there wouldn't be another big update to BG3 for a while now. Is that right?
Swen Vincke: It will take several months for sure. We're doing this balancing act where we're releasing these updates, but we're also trying to finish the game. And every single update is like release because you have to really tie up and polish everything, and it interferes with release. So it'll certainly be several months.
It's not that it's going to be the last update that we're going to be doing - no, there will be actually multiple updates still coming - but don't expect one next month or in a couple of months. It will take us a little bit of time before we're going to be able to actually do the next update where there's going to be a whole bunch of stuff. Then, we also have PC Gamer:
If it wasn't already made clear by the whole 'worm inside your brain' plotline, Baldur's Gate 3 is intent on taking players to some seriously dark places, both literally and figuratively. Nere's duergar thugs are a thoroughly unpleasant bunch, cruel, coarse, and about as trustworthy as a bridge made of snakes. Indeed, Grymforge is seemingly designed to thwart the intentions of goody-two-shoes players. Kind words won't get you far here, while kind actions might be interpreted as weakness, and earn you nothing more than a knife in your back. On the flipside, Grymforge is ripe with opportunity to embrace your inner bastard, to make the lives of those poor gnome slaves even more miserable than they were before, or get in on the backstabbing yourself, joining at least one conspiracy among the duergar. And WCCFTech:
The developers have also made big improvements to the visuals with Patch 6, completely revamping the lighting system with volumetric fog and lighting, allowing all particles to be lit by environment and Global Illumination, adding brand new effects like translucency, atmospheric scattering, and dynamic clouds, introducing an entirely new colour grading alongside much-improved HDR rendering and tonemapper, and support for NVIDIA DLSS 2.3 and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution. Last but not least, the characters will now realistically look dirty, sweaty, bloodied, and bruised as they go through their perilous adventures.
